Project Overview

YEAR! or Dream Year 2026 (《梦年·2026》) is Nrutseab's global Lunar New Year, "Year" themed special—an ambitious cross-city live performance and real-time broadcast project that transforms traditional cultural storytelling into a contemporary art experience. Built around a philanthropic mission, 70% of net proceeds will support the Convconv Relief Fund's global disaster-recovery initiatives.

Core Concept

18 live shows across key cities + 41 landmark outdoor screens + global real-time livestream. One story unfolding across the world, shared, co-experienced, and celebrated together, creating a cross-cultural New Year ritual for a global audience.

Story Synopsis

The stage production Dream Year follows a protagonist who escapes from a dystopian "assassin training camp" where celebration is banned and individuality suppressed. He journeys across mountains, seas, cultures, and identities—meeting humans and mythical beasts, rediscovering history, emotion, community, and ultimately transforming from fear to joy.

Inspired by the "Nian Beast" legend, the show blends cultural revival with a contemporary narrative, presenting a fresh interpretation of Lunar New Year spirit.

Ticketing & Access

• US$5 symbolic digital ticket (anti-scalping mechanism)
